1.1  This statement describes the processing of personal data by the Stimezo Zwolle Foundation, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 41023745 (‘Stimezo’).

1.2   Stimezo provides support for unintended pregnancies and pregnancy termination. In doing so, Stimezo processes personal data.

1.3   Stimezo handles your personal data with care and takes appropriate technical and organizational measures. Stimezo complies with applicable privacy legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation and the Implementation Decision.

3.    Personal data

3.1   Depending on the support that Stimezo provides, Stimezo may process the following personal data about you:

  1. first and last name;
  2. address details;
  3. phone number;
  4. email address;
  5. date of birth;
  6. gender;
  7. medical data and health information;
  8. technical measurement data from devices such as an IP address, MAC address, identifiers in cookies, and your browsing behavior on our website(s); and
  9. payment information, including the bank account number.

3.2   The specific personal data processed by Stimezo depends on the services Stimezo provides for you and the functionalities of the website you use.

 

4.    Purposes

4.1   We process the above data for the following purposes:

  1. providing support for unintended pregnancies and pregnancy termination;
  2. the execution of the service;
  3. the use of the website; andd. improving the website.

 

5.   Use of personal data

5.1   Your personal data is processed by Stimezo mainly to fulfill the agreements between you and Stimezo. Stimezo also processes personal data based on legislation and regulation. Various medical laws and regulations apply to Stimezo’s services, such as but not limited to the WGBO, the Wafz, the Wkggz, the Health Insurance Act, the Wlz, and the subsidy schemes for abortion clinics. Stimezo also processes personal data when Stimezo has a legitimate interest in doing so.

 

6.    Provision of personal data to third parties

6.1   When necessary for the service provision to you or when Stimezo is legally authorized to do so, Stimezo will forward the data you provided to third parties. These third parties include, but are not limited to, IT companies that assist Stimezo with the website and managing personal data, the accountant, chain partners such as doctors in hospitals, the Health and Youth Inspectorate, the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, the dispute resolution committee, and the pharmacy.

6.2   If Stimezo provides your data to a third party, that third party is obligated to use your data only for the purposes for which it was provided. This processing of personal data is recorded in a data processing agreement, if required by law.

6.3   Stimezo will not provide any data to other parties other than those mentioned above, unless permitted or required by law or if it has a justified interest in doing so.

 

7.   Security and retention

7.1   Stimezo takes appropriate security measures to limit the abuse of and unauthorized access to your personal data.

7.2   Stimezo does not retain your personal data longer than necessary. Stimezo keeps your data no longer than twenty years after the end of the treatment relationship you have with Stimezo.

7.3   When you withdraw your consent, Stimezo deletes the personal data for which you had granted consent. The above does not apply if Stimezo is required or allowed to retain your data longer based on a legal obligation.

 

8.   Cookies and Profiling

8.1   Cookies are text files that are stored on your computer or mobile device when you visit a Stimezo website. On Stimezo’s website(s), cookies are used to provide you with an optimal user experience. This means you do not have to fill in the same information repeatedly and can navigate the relevant website more easily.

8.2   For the use of tracking cookies, Stimezo asks for your consent when you visit the website. If you do not grant consent, no tracking cookies will be processed.

8.3   In addition, Stimezo can use analytical cookies to analyze the use of the website, and for this purpose, Stimezo uses Google Analytics. The information obtained, including the IP address of your device, is stored by Google in the EEA. 8.4    You can change the acceptance of cookies in the settings of your browser.

 

9.   Third-party websites

9.1   The Stimezo website may contain references to other websites through hyperlinks. Stimezo is not responsible or liable for the processing of personal data by those websites. This privacy statement does not apply to the use of those third-party websites.

10.1 Stimezo may change this privacy statement from time to time. Changes will be published on our website.

 

11.  Your rights access and modification of data

11.1 You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. This includes the right to request Stimezo for access, restriction, rectification, or erasure of your personal data. You can also request the transfer of your personal data to you. Upon receipt of your request, you will receive a response within four weeks. You can send such a request to vragen@stimezo-zwolle.nl.

12.1  Stimezo would like to hear if you have any complaints about the processing of your personal data. Under privacy legislation, you also have the right to file a complaint with the Authority for Personal Data.
