Termination of pregnancy takes place at our clinic up to a term of 13 weeks, counting from the first day of your last period. Prior to treatment, an ultrasound examination is carried out and you are interviewed by a nurse or doctor.

Ultrasound determines the stage of pregnancy

An ultrasound scan will determine the exact duration of your pregnancy. The ultrasound is performed by a doctor. If the pregnancy is 13 weeks or more we refer you to a second trimester clinic.

Decision making talk with a nurse or doctor

The ultrasound scan is followed by a consultation with a nurse or doctor to discuss your decision. Here, we will address any questions or problems you may have. If you have any problems with the decision-making process, it is always possible to request external expert help.

Bringing someone to the appointment

If you agree, your partner or other carer may attend the ultrasound scan and the decision making process.
