How much does an abortion cost in the Netherlands?
For women living in the Netherlands, the termination of pregnancy is free of charge. The costs of an abortion are reimbursed directly by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport.
In order to be eligible for a free termination of pregnancy, we will ask for a valid proof of identity, a valid health insurance card or an extract from the municipal personal records database which shows that you are registered in the municipality where you live.
Your health insurance company will not be informed about the possible intervention. Therefore, your privacy is always guaranteed at our clinic.
If you do not live in the Netherlands, you can obtain information about the costs of an abortion at our clinic.
