The effect is probably due to suppression of ovulation and changes in the endometrium, which makes it more difficult for a fertilised egg to be implanted. This pill cannot terminate a pregnancy. You should take this pill as soon as possible after unprotected intercourse, but in any case within 72 hours. This method is not 100% reliable and the reliability decreases the longer you wait to take it. The morning-after pill is available without a prescription at pharmacies and drug stores, but is reimbursed with a prescription to young people up to 21 years of age.<\/p>    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- \/module text -->        <\/div>\n                    <div  data-lazy=\"1\" class=\"module_column sub_column col2-1 tb_2ept143 last\">\n                    <!-- module text -->\n<div  class=\"module module-text tb_d6ju144   \" data-lazy=\"1\">\n        <div  class=\"tb_text_wrap\">\n        <h2>The morning-after IUD<\/h2>\n<p>The IUD prevents the implantation of any fertilised egg. This method can be used up to five days after the unprotected intercourse.
